Aufgaben

  • Electrical System Design: Lead the design and integration of electrical systems, ensuring they meet project objectives and meet industry standards.
  • Requirements Analysis and Technical Reviews: Analyze project requirements and conduct technical reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
  • Component Selection and Evaluation: Select appropriate electrical components and evaluate their suitability for the project's requirements.
  • System Modeling and Simulation: Leverage advanced modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance, optimize designs, and troubleshoot potential issues. Oversee prototyping and testing activities.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation: Identify potential risks in electrical systems and develop strategies to mitigate them while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall project.

Wesentliche Kompetenzen

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in the design and development of electrical systems with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: electrical components, assemblies, and circuit design.
  • Familiarity with SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
  • Experience with specialized tools such as Catia V5/V6, Siemens NX, Patran, Nastran, Ansys or similar. 
  • Experience in leading a technical team and supplier management is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English, good knowledge of German is preferred.
